When is the next Marian Conference? 1. How can I prepare for the Marian Conference? Pray for all who are attending the Marian Conference: for transformation of hearts through our shared love for Jesus in the Holy Eucharist and for the Blessed Mother. 2. What else do I need to do? Bring a pen and a notebook if you want to capture points of the speakers, or to journal your experience. 3. Do I need to bring food? A dinner of fish and chips and coleslaw will be available for purchase Friday night for $15. We will provide a brown bag lunch for Saturday, which will include a pulled pork sandwich, fruit, cookie, and a small water. Salad will be available for vegetarians (while supplies last). There will be an area for you to sit and enjoy your meals 4. Will there be coffee and/or a snack bar? Coffee, tea, and water will be available for purchase. Yes, there will be a snack bar. 5. Is there enough parking at Church? There is a good number of parking spots at the Church. However, please plan to arrive early because we are expecting a huge crowd based on pre-registrations and inquiries for walk-ins. We also recommend carpooling. 6. Are there separate sessions for the youth (age 11-17)? Youth are welcome to attend the primary program under the supervision of their parent or guardian. There is a separate, dedicated youth program that will take place in the Hall. Please contact Ihmyouthbrentwood@gmail.com for further details. 7. Is there a place for me to fill my own reusable beverage container? There are water fountains located at the church vestibule. There will also be a refillable water bottle station located in the hallway between the restrooms next to the Hall. 8. I am pre-registered but can I bring someone with me who is not registered? Yes. They would need to register at the Walk-in Registration desk located at the church plaza. 9. Can I make a contribution for the Conference? Absolutely! Thank you for your support! Your generosity allows us to annually provide this faith filled event at Immaculate Heart of Mary for the Oakland Diocese and beyond. Before the Conference, feel free to stop by the office to drop off a donation or call (925) 634-4154 to make a donation over the phone. You can also use Faith Direct to make a one-time gift. 10. Is there a dress code? There is no dress code, although we encourage you to dress suited for attending a Mass. We are so excited that there will be an outdoor Marian Procession on Saturday evening. Please consider bringing a light jacket and wear a suitable pair of shoes. 11. Will the Conference be recorded or live streamed? The Masses will be live-streamed; however, the talks will not be broadcasted. 12. Someone that I registered could not make it, can I send someone in their place? Yes. Please accompany them to the Pre-registered check-in for the original name and explain to the volunteer the situation. 13. Will there be exhibitors selling religious items? Yes, there are a variety of exhibitors who will be selling religious items, as well as Catholic companies providing information. 14. When is the next Marian Conference? The Marian Conference in Brentwood, CA is always scheduled on the second weekend of October. Next year, it will be on October 9-10.
