Immaculate Heart of Mary,

We often associate the word “mystery” with a problem and seek to find an adequate solution. Mystery in the theological sense, however, is quite different. Rather than a problem to be solved, a mystery is something that is infinitely knowable. No matter how much we learn, there is still more insight to be gained. As we celebrate the solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, we are not trying to solve the mystery of the Trinity. Rather, we enter into the mystery so to grow in our understanding of the triune God. The mystery of the Trinity is grounded in the relationship of the Father, Son and Spirit. The very nature of God is relational, and we are invited into this relationship of love. Paul gives us some insight or advice for this relationship: Seek reparation and reconciliation. Live in peace. Encourage and support each other. In cultivating right relationship with others, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit” will be with us. In two weeks we will have our Feast Day Festival. Please plan to attend a great day with an Anointing Mass, Rosary Procession, food, games, and entertainment. Fun day for the whole family. Imaculado Corazon de Maria,

A menudo asociamos la palabra “misterio” con un problema y buscamos encontrar una solución adecuada. Sin embargo, el misterio en el sentido teológico es muy diferente. Más que un problema que debe resolverse, un misterio es algo infinitamente cognoscible. No importa cuánto aprendamos, siempre hay más comprensión por alcanzar. Al celebrar la solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad, no estamos tratando de resolver el misterio de la Trinidad. Más bien, entramos en el misterio para crecer en nuestra comprensión del Dios trino. El misterio de la Trinidad está fundamentado en la relación del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu. La misma naturaleza de Dios es relacional, y nosotros somos invitados a esta relación de amor. Pablo nos da algunas ideas o consejos para esta relación: buscar la reparación y la reconciliación. Vivir en paz. Animarnos y apoyarnos mutuamente. Al cultivar relaciones correctas con los demás, “La gracia del Señor Jesucristo, el amor de Dios y la comunión del Espíritu Santo” estarán con nosotros. Dentro de dos semanas celebraremos nuestra fiesta patronal. No se lo pierdan: les espera un día estupendo con una misa de unción, una procesión del rosario, comida, juegos y actividades de entretenimiento. Un día divertido para toda la familia. Inmaculado Corazón de María, ruega por nosotros.
